Pastor's Weekly Recap, week of February 14, 2010

What a wonderful day as we concentrated on the theme of "Love." Our time of worship drew us toward God's love for us and our love for him. Then in the message on the 7 trumpets of Rev 8-9 we saw God's judgment as another facet of his love. God loves us enough to warn us about what is to come should we ignore His provision for our disobedience. How sad it is to read the last two verses of Chapter 9.

The tension is building as we continue in our Rev study - In the opening verses of chapter 8 we see the power of prayer as it relates to the Day of the Lord and the blowing of the 7 trumpets. What an encouragement it is to know that our prayers have such significance in the overall plan of God.
